Job Title: Guest Service Officer
We are seeking a professional with exceptional customer service skills to join our Front Office team at Park Hyatt Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering memorable experiences and creating lifelong relationships with guests.
About the Role:
* Ensure that guests receive top-notch service during arrival and departure.
* Accept room reservations accurately and efficiently, entering the reservation into the computer system immediately.
* Familiarize yourself with cashiering functions and verify arrival and departure details.
* Arrange luggage handling and transportation as requested by guests.
* Develop a sound knowledge of the local environment, including attractions, places of interest, restaurants, shopping areas, etc.
* Work closely with other Front Office personnel in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.
Qualifications:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Diploma/certificate in Hospitality or Tourism Management is desirable.
* Knowledge of Opera is desirable.
* Preferable prerequisite knowledge of the Travel/Hotel industry.
