What you'll do
As an R&D Tax Graduate you will develop fundamental tax knowledge and skills, analyse financial statements and technical reports, prepare R&D tax submissions, write taxation advice, and undertake a range of client‐facing and administrative tasks.
Research & Development Division Overview
* The R&D Tax team is rapidly growing, utilising skills in science, engineering, accounting, and law.
* High proportion of client‐facing time and interaction.
* Preparation of advice to clients on government incentives for technology innovations.
* Preparation of R&D Registrations that detail the scope of R&D projects and activities.
* Analysis of financial reports and underlying data to prepare R&D expenditure calculations.
* Undertaking administrative tasks such as file preparation, risk assessments, billing and communication.
Responsibilities
Develop core tax knowledge and apply it to client engagements. Analyse financial data, prepare tax submissions, draft advisory documents, support research and incentive programs, communicate with clients and senior leaders, and manage workload efficiently.
Qualifications and Skills
* Currently studying toward or completed a bachelor's degree in Science/IT/ICT or Tax/Law/Business Law/Accounting.
* Strong integrity, professionalism, and mutual respect.
* Excellent task and time management with the ability to prioritise work.
* Effective communication skills with clients and colleagues.
