Task & Responsibilities
Welcoming guests and providing them with menus and drink options.
Suggesting wine pairings to enhance the dining experience.
Recording customer orders and communicating them to the kitchen and bar teams.
Delivering meals and drinks to guests promptly and courteously.
Uncorking wine bottles and pouring beverages as needed.
Preparing tables with appropriate settings and organising table arrangements.
Removing used glasses and bottles, replenishing drinks, and replacing glassware.
Tidying up tables and returning used dishware and utensils to the kitchen.
Processing payments and operating point-of-sale systems efficiently.
Qualification & Experience
Qualification requirement: AQF Certificate II or III in Hospitality.
At least one year of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
Work experience requirement: The successful applicant will have at least 1 year of full-time work experience as a WAITER.
