Non-Emergency Patient Transport Careers

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable organization providing emergency road, aeromedical, and primary health services to people in rural and remote Australia. As a Non-Emergency Patient Transport (NEPT) professional, you will be responsible for transporting patients with various medical conditions, working collaboratively with other team members, and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessment and intervention on-road
- Provide high-quality patient care and treatment during on-road transport
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients and stakeholders
- Assess the effectiveness of any intervention in accordance with all guidelines and regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance), Bachelor of Health Science (Paramedic), or equivalent qualification recognized by RFDS or DHHS
- Evidence of successful completion of required clinical placements and clinical skills assessment
- Registration as a Nurse in the Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia, with completion of an appropriate bridging course for practice in the non-emergency patient transport sector
- Experience working in the NEPT sector, although not essential
- A FULL Victorian Drivers licence and ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions
- Availability to work across a 7-day 24-hour roster with 10 & 12 hour shifts
