Remuneration: Casual rate starting from $91.42 per hour, depending on qualification and teaching experience
About The Role
* Deliver culturally informed training across Agriculture, Horticulture and Conservation units
* Embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives and knowledge into learning
* Support students from diverse backgrounds, including First Nations learners
* Create safe, respectful and culturally responsive learning environments
* Contribute to curriculum delivery, assessment and student support
* Build and maintain connections with community and industry stakeholders
About You
* Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identity (this is a genuine occupational requirement)
* Strong connection to community and understanding of cultural protocols
* Experience in Agriculture, Horticulture, Conservation or related industries
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or willingness to obtain)
* Ability to engage and support learners from diverse backgrounds
* Strong communication skills and a culturally responsive approach to teaching
Desirable
* Qualifications in Horticulture, Agriculture, Conservation or Ecosystem Management
* Experience delivering education or mentoring within community settings
