Join RAC WA as an Associate Software Engineer to develop cloud-based solutions and enhance member experiences using modern technologies.
Your Role
Here's what you will be doing:
* Collaborating with Senior / Lead Software engineers to engage business stakeholders to capture and understand requirements.
* Building cohesive and engaging user experiences leveraging human centric design patterns.
* Developing solutions end-to-end, including front-end, back-end and integration.
* Implementing cloud infrastructure utilising infrastructure as code and applying DevOps principles in delivering solutions, automation of build, release and testing (where possible).
* Testing developed solutions including unit testing, integration testing, performance testing and functional testing.
* Documenting solutions effectively to facilitate knowledge transfer to existing and future engineers and stakeholders.
* Supporting systems used by RAC staff, members and customers.
About You
The company is looking for:
* A recent University Graduate with a tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or IT related field.
* Experience coding in languages such as C#, React, Typescript, likely in a university environment.
* A passion for learning, tinkering, and making things work.
* Ability to listen, take direction and feedback, and contribute views over time.
* Self‐motivated with strong responsibility for work quality and ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
* Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain successful relationships.
* Inclusion of a GitHub repository on CV is encouraged.
