The role is based at our Unanderra office and will play an integral part in supporting the efficient planning, coordination, and documentation of daily transport activities.
You will work closely with drivers, clients, and suppliers to ensure freight is managed and delivered on time, while upholding our high operational standards.What the Role EntailsPlanning and coordinating freight forwarding activities in line with customer and operational requirements.Allocating trucks according to delivery schedules, load specifications, and operational priorities.Maintaining clear and consistent communication with drivers, clients, and suppliers to support timely and accurate deliveries.Recording and updating shipment information, truck allocations, and relevant transport documentation.Performing data entry tasks within logistics systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal processes.Contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of operations by supporting the team with administrative and coordination duties.About YouPrevious experience in freight forwarding, truck allocation, or logistics is preferred.Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.Confident using computer systems, including MS Office and logistics software (CargoWise experience highly regarded).
