We are looking for an experienced and proactive Credit Controller to join our Finance team. You will play a vital role in managing outstanding debt, resolving queries efficiently, and working collaboratively with both internal stakeholders and external customers, primarily Schools and Trusts.

This role is all about minimising risk and maximising profitability by ensuring that credit issued by the company is paid in full and on time.
What You'll Be Doing
Large volume of inbound and outcome calls to external and internal customers Sending statements and copy invoices as needed. Resolving queries efficiently to ensure prompt payments. Collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues delaying invoice payments. Escalating any concerning accounts to the Credit Control Manager. Providing regular reports on the status of debt and overdue accounts. Working alongside the wider credit control team to improve debt collection processes. Managing correspondence via personal and company email accounts. Keeping detailed notes and updates in our collection software and reporting findings to the Finance Leadership Team. Preparing weekly and monthly reports and projects as required. Attending finance and company meetings in person or via video. Supporting the team with additional finance-related tasks when needed.
What We're Looking For
