A small to medium sized business with a team of around 20 people, it prides itself on providing and delivering innovative structural, civil and project management services and solutions. The company is busy in the Bespoke High-End Residential sector working on high specification, architecturally designed projects. It has a healthy project flow which is seeing growth opportunities within the business, along with a supportive, family feel culture.
About the role
Due to sustained growth, we are seeking a Senior Structural Design Engineer / Senior Structural Team Leader looking to take the next step in their career. We are looking for someone who can run projects autonomously, with support from a structural team of Design Engineers and Drafters. You will lead projects and we require someone with 5-6 years of experience, with some of that spent on similar projects.
About the candidate
Ideally, you will have:
* At least 5-6 years of Structural Design Engineering experience, with a significant amount of this locally
* Experience in High-End Bespoke Residential projects or Architecturally designed projects is highly desirable
* Excellent communication skills including report writing
* Excellent knowledge of Australian Standards & Council design standards
* Demonstrated understanding of Engineering codes, construction standards, specs, procedures and construction techniques
* Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen or Full Australian Working Rights
