Double Degree Registered Nurse/Midwife Graduate Program This role offers a unique opportunity to launch your nursing and midwifery career in a dynamic regional health service. As a graduate, you will be supported through a comprehensive program that will transition you from student to practitioner. About the Role This is a 12-month fixed-term part-time position, commencing in February 2026. You will work 32 hours per week (0.8 FTE). Our Maternity Unit is one of the largest in the region, with over 1650 births annually. We provide Level 4 Special Care Nursery care to more than 400 babies per year. You will have the opportunity to rotate across various wards, including Antenatal/Postnatal Ward, Birth Suite, Women's Surgical Unit, and Special Care Nursery. This will enable you to gain diverse experience, attend study days, and participate in hospital education sessions to enhance your theoretical knowledge and practical skills. We are seeking applicants who are registered nurses and midwives with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration. You must demonstrate a person-centred approach to decision-making and care planning activities. Additionally, you should be able to work effectively as a team member within a multidisciplinary environment.
