Seeking a skilled mental health professional to join our team and provide specialist services to children, young people and families affected by family violence.
The role involves providing therapeutic interventions, case management services and referrals to appropriate agencies, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of programs for clients of the Family Violence Counselling and Support Service.
The successful applicant will have a tertiary qualification in psychology approved by the Psychology Board of Australia and be registered with the Psychology Board. They will also possess a strong understanding of human services sector clinical experience and trauma frameworks.
Key responsibilities include:
* Provide specialist psychological services to children, young people and families affected by family violence;
* Undertake psychological assessments using standardised methods;
* Develop and implement programs and sessions for clients of the Children and Young Persons' Program and Family Violence Counselling and Support Service;
* Contribute to policy development and evaluation of programs within the service;
