Role Overview
This is a NOC environment suitable for a Network Administrator with enterprise experience. You will work a 37.5-hour week over 4 days, including weekends. You must be able to work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Responsibilities
* Provide Tier Two NOC support as part of a global Network Operations Center team. Responsibilities include administering, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting client computer networks, as well as large-scale network installations, projects, and platforms.
* Participate in Major Incident Management activities, identifying network performance issues and trends (e.g., failing components, firewall blocks, network traffic tracing).
* Coordinate resolution activities with IT groups across systems and platforms to ensure synchronization.
* Create, review, and interpret network diagrams, documentation, policies, and procedures.
What You'll Bring
* Strong network experience within a financial organization or large enterprise environment.
* Experience with Infinistream Sniffer, APCON, and other packet analyzers.
* Advanced knowledge of Cisco IOS, Nexus OS, Juniper, Cisco ACI, F5, WAN, DNS, DHCP, IPSEC, AWS, etc.
* Platform knowledge of Cisco platforms, Juniper routers, Palo Alto Firewall, etc.
* Extensive troubleshooting of BGP & OSPF.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
