Human Resources Manager Role

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team across HR, Training, Recruitment, and Social Inclusion, reporting directly to the Support Services Manager on the project.
* Develop and implement HR strategies to help the project meet its goals, providing expert guidance on employee and industrial relations.
* Conduct intermediate-level investigations, drafting comprehensive reports, and managing negotiated exits, interpreting and applying employment legislation and enterprise agreements.
* Support workforce planning and development by identifying talent gaps, advising on capability needs, and analysing workforce data to inform strategic decisions.
* Contribute to organisational design and change initiatives, assessing the impact of role and structural changes on business operations.
* Align HR governance and strategy, ensuring job roles, capabilities, and salary bandings support organisational goals, while overseeing junior team members' work.
* Promote a positive workplace culture, embedding diversity and inclusion initiatives, managing ethical decision-making, and supporting employee branding strategies.
* Drive talent acquisition and retention strategies, including sourcing, advising on hiring processes, and developing competitive compensation and benefits packages.
Required Skills And Competencies
* Experience in an HR leadership role in a construction project or similar heavy industry environment.
* Demonstrated leadership capability and the ability to manage a team effectively.
* Capability to influence and drive change management through all levels of project leadership and operational staff.
* Highly proficient with employment law, regulations, and best practices in HR.
* Ideally, a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
