* Location: Northern Adelaide Local Health Network – Northern Mental Health – Elizabeth East
* Salary: AHP1 $73,710 – $89,981 p.a.; AHP2 $94,997 – $110,052 p.a.
* Employment Type: Full‐time
* Classification: AHP1 or AHP2, depending on experience

About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team within the Wondakka Community Rehabilitation Centre (CRC). Wondakka CRC is a 20‐bed facility providing high‐quality, evidence‐based mental health rehabilitation and disability support for adults aged 18 and over. The service operates within a welcoming, home‐like environment, comprising seven self‐contained residential units and staffed 24 hours a day by a dedicated multidisciplinary team of clinical and non‐clinical professionals. At its core, Wondakka delivers person‐centred, recovery‐oriented rehabilitation programmes that support consumers to build skills, strengthen community connections, and achieve their individual recovery goals.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with mental health challenges, helping them to regain independence, improve their quality of life and achieve their personal goals. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, providing evidence‐based assessments, interventions and promoting recovery‐oriented practices.

You will be joining a friendly multidisciplinary team and have an opportunity to learn from other disciplines. Structured discipline‐specific supervision and regular in‐services, including discipline‐specific professional development, will be provided.

Appointment to the role will be at the AHP1 or AHP2 classification, dependent on the level of experience.

Qualifications:

To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.

Role Requirements

* Appointment subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check.
* DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC).
* National Police Check for general employment probity, vulnerable person‐related employment and aged care sector screening.

Immunisation risk classification: Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances). SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine‐preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
