Procurement Manager – Renewable Energy
Overview
Phillip Riley are seeking a Procurement Manager to support the development and delivery of large-scale renewable energy and infrastructure projects. The role focuses on early supplier engagement, procurement strategy development, and risk mitigation to enable efficient project delivery aligned with programme and budget objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead early engagement with suppliers and contractors
* Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets
* Manage procurement of goods and services from establishment through to close-out
* Lead pre-construction commercial processes to ensure early scope clarity and interface alignment
* Identify, manage, and mitigate supply chain risks and opportunities
* Engage with internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to maintain alignment and transparency
Experience & Capabilities
* 7+ years' procurement experience on large-scale energy or infrastructure projects
* Proven capability across pre-construction and construction procurement
* Strong understanding of market dynamics, contract structures, and procurement methodologies
* Demonstrated experience in commercial negotiations and stakeholder management
* Qualifications in Procurement, Project Management, or a related discipline
* Strong communication, planning, and commercial acumen
