Are you an experienced Customer Success or Sales professional with a passion for the food and beverage industry? We're seeking a Key Account Manager to work with our venue team, collaborating with food and beverage suppliers/distributors and top restaurants, cafes, and bars across Australia. Your role will be to manage a portfolio of venues through the customer success management (CSM) cycle, helping them streamline procurement and payments, thereby enhancing profitability via our digital platform.
At Ordermentum, our purpose is to create a more sustainable food and beverage industry by enabling smarter trade. Since 2014, we've built a network of approximately 45,000 cafes, restaurants, and bars (nearly half of all venues in Australia), processing over $1.5 billion annually through around 1,000 local wholesale suppliers. Recently, in September 2023, we announced a new capital raise and the acquisition of Foodbomb to strengthen our market position.
What you'll do:
* Build and nurture customer relationships: Manage key accounts, understand their needs, promote platform adoption, and identify growth opportunities. Maintain engagement through various communication channels and manage a book of over 500 customers.
* Meet and exceed targets: Achieve individual and team sales goals by prioritizing efforts and executing strategic plans.
* Learning and feedback: Contribute insights to improve our product and market approach, supporting our scale-up efforts.
* Build supplier relationships: Facilitate long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships between venues and suppliers within our marketplace.
* Collaboration: Work with internal teams to refine our pitch, provide product feedback, and support strategic initiatives.
What you'll bring:
* 4+ years in B2B sales or food and beverage industry field sales with a proven KPI track record.
* Experience managing key accounts and delivering results.
* Self-motivated with a growth mindset and a customer-centric approach.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
* Knowledge of sales principles and CRM tools.
* Australian driver's license and access to a car.
