About the Role
As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of procurement activities for Queensland Country Bank. This entails developing and implementing a procurement framework, procurement policies and procedures and collaborating with other internal stakeholders to assist with sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation and vendor performance evaluation.
This is a full-time position based on a 38-hour work week. You will be based in our Townsville Head Office or Brisbane Admin Office.
About You
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent working knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques
- Sound knowledge of supplier or third-party management software
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field (desirable)
- Proven experience in procurement management or supply chain management
- Proven experience developing, maintaining and managing stakeholder, third-party and supplier relationships
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and acting on processes for streamlining and improvement
- Previous experience working in a Financial Institution (desirable)
