About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at NDS Automotive Mobile Services as a full-time Mechanic Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality automotive repair and maintenance services to our growing customer base across Williamstown, VIC and the surrounding areas.
What you'll be doing
* Accurately diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle makes and models either at workshop or onsite.
* Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs to customer vehicles, including servicing, brake work, and general mechanical repairs
* Test drive vehicles to ensure all repairs and maintenance have been completed to a high standard
* Provide exceptional customer service and liaise with clients to understand their vehicle needs
* Keep detailed records of all work performed and parts used
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored
What we're looking for
* Relevant trade qualification in automotive mechanics or a similar field
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Mechanic Technician, preferably in a mobile automotive servicing environment
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve vehicle issues
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
* Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical customers
* A valid driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle
