The key responsibilities of this role include:
* Meal Preparation: Prepare meals according to the menus designed by the Head Chef, ensuring that the meals are nutritious, appealing, and meet the specific dietary needs of individual residents.
* Special Diets: Accommodate special dietary requirements, such as texture-modified diets, to cater to the unique health conditions and preferences of our residents.
* Food Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene standards to prevent foodborne illnesses and maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
* Quality Control: Monitor the quality of ingredients and finished dishes, ensuring that they meet high standards in taste, appearance, and portion sizes.
This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
