Hilliard Christian School is seeking a Bus Driver to join their team. This part-time role for 27.5 hours per week is based in West Moonah, Tasmania and will involve ensuring the safe and reliable transportation of our students.
What you\'ll be doing
* Safely operating the school\'s buses to transport students to and from school, following all traffic laws and safety regulations
* Communicating effectively with parents, students, and school staff to address any transportation-related inquiries or concerns
* Maintaining detailed records of bus usage, student attendance, and any incidents or accidents
What we\'re looking for
* A current Australian driver\'s licence (medium rigid), with a minimum of 2 years of experience
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff
* A commitment to safety and a proven track record of safe driving practices
* Knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle maintenance, and transportation regulations relevant to the role
* A demonstrated understanding of the unique needs and requirements of transporting school-aged children
