Senior Prosecuting Solicitor Role
This is a key role within our organization that requires an individual with expertise in prosecution services, including adjudication, negotiation, and advocacy. The successful candidate will manage complex prosecution files and possess significant recent and relevant experience in criminal legal practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-level prosecution services to ensure the effective administration of justice.
* Manage multiple prosecution files concurrently, utilizing strong organizational and time management skills.
* Supervise and develop subordinate staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
* Act in accordance with the ethics of the legal profession and participate in ongoing professional development programs.
Requirements:
* Hold a degree in law and be admitted as a practitioner of the Supreme Court of South Australia.
* Possess an unrestricted practicing certificate and a strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies.
Some out-of-hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required for this role. The successful candidate must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel extensively throughout the state.
