Overview
This is a true temp to perm placement. The client is also open to a straight permanent placement for an exceptional candidate.
Responsibilities
* Participate in all areas of production and dispatch with a hands-on approach.
* Work autonomously as well as as part of a team.
* Provide exceptional troubleshooting and maintain a sound knowledge of automation systems with experience in automation and controls.
Qualifications
* High mechanical and electrical aptitude, preferably with a relevant Trade Qualification or extensive experience as a senior operator in the FMCG sector
* Valid forklift licence and previous experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including Drug & Alcohol and Functional Assessments
* A drivers licence and own reliable transport
* Experience: Mechanical / Electrical or Automation Technician: 3 years (Required)
* Licence/Certification: Driver Licence (Required); Trade Qualification; Full Driver Licence (Required); Forklift Licence (Required)
