As a Podiatrist, you will be responsible for providing effective and personalised treatment for our clients while promoting their overall health and well-being. This is a rare and amazing opportunity in a salaried position to further your Podiatry career.

About Modern Medicine

Modern Medicine is a family-owned business established in 2008, proudly operating multidisciplinary clinics in multiple states - Launceston, TASMANIA; Ballarat, Daylesford, Horsham, VICTORIA. We boast large & state-of-the-art clinics with multiple large consultation rooms, lunch room & kitchen, sterilisation room, storeroom, fully accessible bathrooms and separate waiting and reception areas. However, our reputation ensures demand at all our clinics and enables us to transfer employment to other sites as a perk of being a part of the Modern Medicine team. Situated throughout Australia, this is for those seeking a vibrant and welcoming community with a great lifestyle.

In addition to Podiatry, we offer Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Dietetics and Myotherapy. We work together as a team helping patients across all the modalities offered and in conjunction with Medical Centres requiring our expertise for various conditions. We have a range of expertise in-house from general care podiatry to highly specialised musculoskeletal podiatry services, focusing on the MSK services. Both are considered important offerings and we tailor these patients to the specific clinician's skillset and preferences.

You will be supported by a full reception/administrative team and experienced clinical team members. We are proud to offer additional support to our team through our dedicated nurse and allied health assistant. Their invaluable contributions help streamline day-to-day clinic operations, allowing clinicians to focus on delivering exceptional care. From assisting with patient preparation and administrative tasks to ensuring smooth workflow and addressing clinic needs, their support helps create a more efficient and stress-free environment for both our team and patients.

This role offers incredible rewards, as you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our wonderful patients with diverse needs. The work and environment will both challenge and inspire you, offering professional fulfilment.

We focus on MSK clients, with no aged care facility visits and no home visits. However, we actively support and upskill team members in MSK conditions and treatments, so don't let that deter you from applying If your passion lies in general care and you'd prefer not to work with MSK clients, that's absolutely fine too – we value clinicians who embrace what they enjoy most. We also see a strong demand for surgeries in our clinic.

Our team thrives on collaboration, supporting one another and sharing expertise to foster a safe and encouraging learning environment. Together, we are committed to delivering best practices and helping each other grow professionally.
