Excavator / Multi Skilled Final Trim Operator
Andrew Walter Constructions is seeking an experienced Excavator / Multi Skilled Final Trim Operator to join our team on a full-time basis in Launceston, Tasmania. In this pivotal role, you will operate an excavator and other plant to support our infrastructure projects.
What you'll be doing
Operate and maintain an excavator and other plant to high standards
Ensure the safe and efficient operation of plant machinery on construction sites
Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on the equipment as required
Work closely with the construction team to complete projects on time and to specification
Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
What we're looking for
Relevant experience as an Excavator and Plant Operator, ideally in the civil construction industry
Valid licences to operate the required equipment
Strong understanding of plant machinery maintenance and repair
Commitment to working safely and efficiently
Good communication and teamwork skills
