We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee our fast‑paced food distribution warehouse. In this role, you will lead daily warehouse operations, oversee the daily flow of goods, ensure efficient inventory flow, maintain compliance with food safety standards, and support a high‑performing team.
This role is a dual role and will oversee parts of both our night shift and day shift. Starting at 3am you will be required to oversee all staff, loading of delivery vehicles, receival of goods, replenishing of stock levels and any general warehousing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
* Ensure all activities comply with food safety, hygiene, and cold chain standards
* Manage inventory accuracy, stock rotation, and regular stocktakes
* Lead, mentor, and schedule warehouse staff to maintain efficiency and teamwork
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
* Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, fulfilment speed, and wastage
* Work closely with suppliers, transport partners, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives to support growth and efficiency
* Oversee equipment maintenance, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and temperature-controlled storage
