Noosa Heads is located on Queensland's Sunshine Coast and is renowned for its stunning beaches, national parks and relaxed coastal lifestyle. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall operations of the Noosa Heads Aged Care Facility, in conjunction with a supportive local and Corporate Management team.

Your Role

Reporting to the Aged Care Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall day‐to‐day operations of the Noosa Heads Aged Care Facility, including the delivery and monitoring of care and support in conjunction with a supportive local and corporate management team. In this role, the manager is responsible for ensuring the facility fosters and maintains a culture of person‐centred care, continuous improvement and always meets the requirements of accreditation, in line with the Aged Care Code of Conduct, the Charter of Aged Care Rights and Ozcare Values.

Your tasks will include:

1. Provide strong and consistent leadership to the team.
2. Promote a culture of service delivery excellence that aims to improve the wellbeing and lifestyle of our residents.
3. Maintain a financially sustainable business including occupancy and predicted income levels.
4. Deliver safe, reliable care and services.
5. Monitor and evaluate care and supports in accordance with Ozcare's business requirements, standards and codes.
6. Ensure staff deliver care and support in accordance with Ozcare's business processes.
Oversee the financial operations of the facility including budgets, forecasting and expenditure.
7. Ensure compliance with accreditation, regulatory and quality standards.
Provide input into local forward business planning and strategic direction.
Role Requirements
* Formal relevant post‐graduate qualifications in management (desirable)
* Aged Care Management experience (desirable)
* Demonstrated management, communication and leadership skills
* Strong financial, operational and people management capability
* Good time management and work prioritisation skills
* Ability to understand and respond to underlying causes for residents' and relatives' behaviour and feelings
* A current Queensland Driver's Licence
* First Aid and CPR certificate (required within one month of commencement)
* Be vaccinated against Influenza & have at least one dose of a COVID‐19 vaccine
* Current National Police Check (valid within the past 3 years)
