Job Description
This is an opportunity to work as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Midwest region of Western Australia. The role involves providing clinical consultancy services to Aboriginal patients and families, staff, and other health professionals. The successful candidate will promote excellence in clinical standards and quality care, while demonstrating leadership and role modelling.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Demonstrated credentialed diabetes educator status or completing mentoring process within 6 months of employment
* Demonstrated extensive clinical experience and demonstrated specialist knowledge in the area of specialty
* Demonstrated effective analytical, problem solving and leadership skills
* Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
* Demonstrated ability to design, implement, evaluate and support Quality Improvement Projects/ Activities
* Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate nursing policies and guidelines using research findings to support evidence based practise
* Demonstrated ability to identify nursing staff learning needs, develop orientation and clinical teaching opportunities and programs
