As a dedicated Aboriginal Health Worker, you will be part of a rural healthcare team supporting pregnant women and their families throughout the antenatal and postnatal journey. Your role will foster trust, strengthen connections, and support efforts to bridge the health gap.
Key Responsibilities:
 1. Coordinate appointments with the Midwife to provide comprehensive care.
 2. Offer cultural support to patients, enhancing their overall experience.
 3. Participate in community events, such as NAIDOC Week celebrations, to promote health awareness.
 4. Join home visits with the Midwife to deliver care during the antenatal and postnatal period.
About You:
 * Display strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients and healthcare teams.
 * Utilize basic computer skills and hold a current driver's license to facilitate efficient task management.
 * Demonstrate confidence in engaging with the community, providing a vital cultural bridge between patients, families, and healthcare services.
