2. Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, delivering accurate reporting.
3. Analyse financial data to support strategic decision‐making processes.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate budget preparation and monitoring.
5. Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
6. Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
7. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax reporting requirements.
8. Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:
9. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with professional qualifications such as CA or CPA.
10. Proven expertise in financial reporting and compliance.
11. Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
12. Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
13. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
14. Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
