Associate Photographer - Melbourne (Start ASAP)
Join Domain and CoStar Group as an Associate Photographer in Melbourne, creating high-quality architectural photos and videos to support real estate marketing and data innovation.
Your Role
Here's what you will be doing:
Produce interior and exterior media of residential, office, industrial, and retail properties using architectural photography expertise.
Create engaging videos showcasing key features of residential and commercial properties.
Perform Matterport 3D captures to create interior and exterior walk-through tours.
Use drones to create Gaussian splat views of properties where possible.
Produce compelling exterior media for suburbs, parks, and schools.
Utilize professional-grade tools and photography techniques considering time of day, season, and location.
Edit photography and video promptly to complete projects.
Communicate professionally with clients during scheduling, setup, and on-site interactions.
Participate in team meetings to address business challenges and promote collaboration and continuous learning.
Travel up to one week per month or as required by business needs.
About You
The company is looking for:
Demonstrable practical experience as a professional Real Estate Photographer or similar.
Portfolio including real estate and lifestyle media, with exterior, interior, and drone photography preferred.
Minimum of a High School Certificate or equivalent.
At least 2 years of professional real estate photography and videography experience or recent graduate with Photography concentration.
Full understanding of manual camera settings and lighting.
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro), MAC OS, and MS Office.
Current CASA Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) or willingness to obtain it within 6 weeks, including CASA-approved training and certification.
Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 12 kg.
Current, valid Australian driver's licence and ability to hire a car for work travel.
Ability to drive up to 2 hours at a time and work outdoors in all seasons.
Willingness to work occasional night and weekend shifts on a rotating roster.
Satisfactory Driving Record Check prior to starting.
Preferred: experience with commercial drone photography, strong relationship-building skills, flexibility, multitasking, time management, and artistic vision in architectural photography.
Training & Development
3 weeks induction and training at head office.
Continued learning and development of photography and videography craft, including staying updated on new techniques and technology.
