We're Hiring: Project Financial Controller
Location: Sydney, NSW | Full-Time | Renewable Energy
Join a high-growth global clean energy developer with a multi-gigawatt pipeline of wind, solar, and battery storage projects across Australia. Backed by major international investors, the company is delivering some of the most ambitious renewable infrastructure projects in the country.
This is a group-level role overseeing financial operations across the Australian portfolio. You'll lead financial governance, compliance, and reporting across multiple high-value projects in development and construction.
What You'll Do
* Lead financial control across large-scale renewable energy projects from construction through to operations
* Ensure compliance with AASB9, IFRS, and hedge accounting standards
* Manage lender reporting, debt drawdowns, and equity requirements
* Oversee revenue recognition, market settlements, and REC invoicing
* Lead month-end and year-end close processes
* Collaborate with external advisors on audits, tax, and financial reporting
* Provide strategic financial insights to support project financing and investment decisions
What You'll Bring
* Chartered Accountant (ACMA, CGMA) with a Master of Commerce or equivalent
* Experience in renewable energy project finance or infrastructure
* Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and electricity market dynamics
* Confident working with lenders, investors, and cross-functional teams
* FMVA and/or PMP certification is a plus
