About the Role
We're working with a well-established Australian managed services provider seeking a technically strong Networks & Security Team Leader to oversee the delivery of managed services across complex customer environments. This role is hands-on and leadership-focused, enabling and mentoring a team of Level 1, 2, and 3 engineers while ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery across ITIL-aligned operations. Acting as a senior technical escalation point, you'll help drive stability, reduce downtime, and continually improve network and security outcomes for a diverse client base. Experience with enterprise-grade network and security platforms is essential, with Palo Alto and Meraki exposure highly regarded, alongside Juniper-heavy environments across some customers.
Experience & Skills
* Proven experience delivering managed network and security services in an MSP or enterprise environment
* Strong technical background across network and security technologies, acting as a senior escalation point
* Hands-on leadership experience mentoring and coaching Level 1–3 engineers
* Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks, incident management, problem management, and service delivery
* Experience working with technologies such as Palo Alto, Meraki, Juniper, Cisco, Fortinet, or similar
* Vendor certifications (CCNP, CCIE, Palo Alto, Juniper, Fortinet or equivalent) highly desirable
* Strong stakeholder and client-facing communication skills
* Ability to remain hands-on while leading teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
