Wellbeing Manager
This is a rewarding role that requires the development and implementation of meaningful life programs for residents in a care community.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Meaningful Life program, developing opportunities for engagement, purposeful participation, social events, and activities for all residents. They will also drive Opal HealthCare initiatives, including Meaningful Mates and Helping Hands.
This includes curating programs to support residents' physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing and overall quality of life. The Wellbeing Manager will work closely with clinical teams and allied health professions to provide a tailored approach for each resident to aid their mobility and independence.
They will coach care team members to deliver meaningful engagements between like-minded residents and liaise with residents to develop activities and engagements that meet their cultural, spiritual, social, and physical needs and preferences.
The role also involves engaging with residents' families to encourage visitation and socialisation. Above all, the Wellbeing Manager must demonstrate Person Centred Care principles and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
