The Opportunity - Client Service Director The role of the Client Services Director is to lead our Partnerships and PR + Communications teams, connecting and collaborating internally, and with Client and Group Company decision makers, to enhance the quality of our product and our pipeline for growth. This influential and hands-on role needs to be discipline neutral to intimately understand the context and needs of both our clients and our team. They will be an expert at navigating agency processes and complex organisations, and will play an integral role in the day-to-day management of a broad range of projects and workstreams. A snapshot of what you'll do - * Promote a collaborative, one-team culture between departments within S&E and between Group Companies * Build and maintain effective working relationships within the Group Leadership Team * Champion S&E’s specialist capabilities within the Group, and be an expert at identifying opportunities that will unlock improved integration and organic growth * Build a strong rapport with key client decision makers to elevate the perception and reputation of S&E and deliver on our Big Ambition * Oversee the Senior Account Directors to develop and execute client plans, focused on creative excellence and growth * Anticipate and understand client requirements, challenges and opportunities * Develop significant knowledge of clients’ categories and industry trends to shape the work, and deliver meaningful outcomes * Work in concert with the MD and GM of S&E to develop, engage and convert a strategic pipeline of new business and organic prospects * Play an active role on behalf of S&E’s specialist capabilities to effectively contribute to Group new business pitches where required * Contribute to the marketing efforts of S&E including but not limited to networking, new business credentials, proactive ideas, thought-leadership and award submissions * Plus, much more our Talent Team will share the full job description in the interview stage SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES * A leader - proven ability to build and inspire a diverse team, to elevate quality of work and ideas to the next level * An influencer – able to take people on a journey, to achieve buy-in across critical issues * Passionate about great ideas, underpinned by commitment to delivery * Excellent written and verbal communication skills – a confident, credible presenter * Ability to communicate with all levels of clients, management and staff * Ability to work as a team and for the benefit of the team * Multi-tasker - manages a number of responsibilities in the face of competing priorities * Excellent problem solving and issue resolution * Inquisitive and keen to share learning with clients and internal team members * Self motivated, flexible and able to work without supervision or instruction * Ability to work as a team and for the benefit of the team * Ability to learn new technologies and marketing concepts quickly * High energy and willingness to innovate * Passionate, persistent and courageous Your ideal experience: * Business/Marketing degree or equivalent * 10+ years experience leading teams and working in an integrated agency * Demonstrated people management experience, leading high-performance teams What WE value MOST * Walk in different worlds * Make Uncommon Sense * Run Towards the Fire (except if there is an actual fire when we run away from it) * Roll as one * Be excellent to each other Best Bits About Working With Us Our big benefits fuel our big ambitions.
