This vacancy is maternity leave relief for an initial period of up to 50 weeks for 38 hours per week; the hours and period of employment may change according to the maternity leave requirements. There is also the possibility of an extension at same / reduced hours.
About the role
Kamala Child and Adolescent Mental Health Inpatient Unit is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to join the team in Lismore. The Nurse Unit Manager is responsible for the efficient management of nursing and other relevant staff, ensuring effective liaison between all health professionals, and overseeing environmental and work, health, and safety management of the unit.
The role involves leading nursing staff, promoting clinician engagement, and ensuring clinical standards, safety, and quality improvements. The Local Health District (LHD) emphasizes staff involvement in planning, delivery, and evaluation of health services.
