Job Summary
The NDIS Support Coordinator is a key role within our organization, responsible for establishing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to coordinate support services.
This position involves providing high-quality support coordination to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met through person-centred planning and practices.
Key responsibilities include linking clients to community resources, social and recreational activities, and specialist services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, experience working in the disability industry, and a strong understanding of the NDIS.
* Acknowledgement of local Aboriginal culture and community knowledge, with experience working with Indigenous people
* Understanding of barriers and challenges faced by Indigenous people in the NT
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff and stakeholders
* Skillful use of computer software, with experience using NDIS systems considered an asset
* Experience in Disability Services, providing Support Coordination to clients
* CURRENT NT driver's license, Working with Children clearance and willingness to undertake National Police check
