Randstad Defence is partnering with ASC, Australia's Submarine Company, to support a major defence maritime project as part of the AUKUS program. Engineers will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, including end‑users and subject‑matter experts, to develop a set of infrastructure functional requirements for the Submarine Construction Yard at Osborne, SA. The role involves design and construction assurance to verify that the Infrastructure Functional Requirements are translated into the design, construction and commissioning of the facility.

As Senior Engineer/Specialist you will:
* Work in a complex environment with multiple internal/external stakeholders
* Work within constraints related to cost, schedule and capability
* Be required to develop the Infrastructure Functional Requirements (IFR) including:
o Technical drawings
o Technical data across civil, structural, architectural and industrial services disciplines
o Written requirements
* Undertake documentation and configuration management of the IFR, including design reviews, assurance and reporting against compliance of delivery
* Manage a team of around 10 engineering professionals
* Have experience in services engineering with broad exposure across all disciplines, including industrial services distribution and a strong focus on ICT and Defence Security
About You:
* Must be an Australian citizen to hold and maintain an Australian NV1 Security Clearance
* Tertiary qualification in engineering or a related technical discipline
* Significant experience delivering technical projects in industrial, manufacturing or construction industries
* Experience in project managing infrastructure design and construction works
* Proven experience working with WHS&E legislation, regulations, Australian Standards and Codes of Practice
* Experience with Defence Industry manuals and guidelines will be highly regarded
