In this pivotal role, you will use your clinical expertise to manage complex consumer needs, provide direct and comprehensive nursing care, and contribute to individual case management. Working within the National Mental Health Policy and Standards, you’ll support consumers through education, counselling, and group work — all directed toward their recovery and wellbeing. As a Clinical Nurse, you'll also guide and support less experienced staff, playing a key role in fostering a collaborative and positive clinical environment. Depending on your career goals and MHCP priorities, you may take on portfolio responsibilities or be involved in teaching, research, and broader projects such as developing clinical guidelines and protocols.
