We are partnering with a privately owned Australian manufacturing group with operations across pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, cosmetics and food production. With multiple sites across NSW, QLD and Victoria, the business supports a mix of established and emerging FMCG brands through end-to-end contract manufacturing.
Following strong growth and continued expansion (including ongoing acquisitions), they are now looking to appoint a Business Development Manager / Relationship & Growth Manager to support the next phase of commercial growth.
This is a hands‐on commercial role focused on both growing existing accounts and winning new business.
You'll work closely with senior leadership and manufacturing teams, acting as the key link between clients and production, ensuring opportunities are commercially viable and deliverable.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow existing client relationships, identifying opportunities to expand product range and volume
* Develop new business opportunities across FMCG, nutraceuticals and wider FMCG markets
* Own the full sales cycle: lead generation, pitching, quoting, negotiation and onboarding
* Lead commercial discussions around pricing, margins and contracts
* Work closely with manufacturing and production teams to deliver viable solutions
* Act as the bridge between clients and operations (timelines, feasibility, capacity)
* Identify new product and category opportunities aligned with market demand
About You
* Proven experience in sales within food manufacturing, FMCG, nutraceuticals or contract manufacturing
* Experience working with private label / contract manufacturing models
* Strong commercial acumen (pricing, quoting, margin management)
* Track record of growing existing accounts and managing key clients
* Able to engage across procurement, product and leadership stakeholders
* Comfortable in a hands‐on, fast‐moving environment
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes — able to balance opportunity with operational reality
