About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the TAFE Gippsland Foundation Teaching team, delivering Foundation level programs to students who may experience learning disabilities, barriers to learning or are returning to study. The role involves teaching courses such as Certificates I and II in General Education for Adults, in Vocational Pathways programs.

You will support a diverse range of learners, with a strong focus on developing Literacy and Numeracy skills. This role suits a motivated and enthusiastic educator who is passionate about sharing their knowledge and supporting positive student outcomes.

About you

You are a dedicated and student focused vocational educator with a passion for foundation education and supporting diverse learners to succeed. You hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent), along with relevant vocational qualifications and current industry experience, and are committed to maintaining your professional and vocational currency.

You bring strong skills in planning, delivering and assessing quality VET programs, with a sound understanding of Training Packages and the compliance requirements of the National VET Quality Framework. You are confident using a range of teaching methodologies and technologies to meet the needs of different learner cohorts, and you value collaboration, flexibility and continuous improvement.

With a positive and proactive approach, you work effectively as part of a professional team, contribute to course development and promotion, and actively support student engagement, retention and success in line with TAFE Gippsland's values and strategic objectives.
