Join our dynamic healthcare team at Lumus Imaging as a Full time Permanent Imaging Assistant at Lumus Imaging Toowoomba.
Responsibilities
* You will assist general and CT radiographers in asking patients critical questions, obtaining their medical history, outlining risks involved, and explaining procedures.
* You must be able to assist in positioning patients undergoing CT scans.
* The successful candidate will already be trained or willing to train in cannulation.
* You may be required to also assist in clerical duties.
* Supportive role in delivering patient-centred care and contributing to a positive imaging environment.
About You
* This is an excellent opportunity for a student of Radiography or a candidate with a medical background/ interest.
* Sound medical knowledge is preferable but not essential.
* You can work in a team environment.
* You are empathetic and a clear communicator.
* You're available for extended trading hours and weekends.
