1:1 Teaching Assistant
to provide personalised support for students who need extra guidance to thrive academically and socially.
This
1:1 TA
role is perfect for someone who is patient, nurturing, and committed to helping children reach their full potential.
Your Responsibilities as a 1:1 TA:
Work closely with a designated student to support learning, behaviour, and development
Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs)
Support students in academic tasks, social interaction, and confidence building
Provide one-to-one attention tailored to each child's needs
Liaise with teachers and pastoral staff to monitor progress and adjust support as needed
Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
Who We're Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
Professional and reliable attitude
Ability to support behaviour management positively
Commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeing
An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education
