Offer description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Administration Officer with a strong focus on Finance, with outstanding customer service skills to join our team in our residential aged care home.

Lutheran Homes Barossa services residents of Tanunda Lutheran Home and our Retirement living Villages, nestled in the heart of the beautiful Barossa. We are a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to caring for and enriching the lives of our residents.

This is a meaningful role that helps provide a safe, beautiful, and welcoming environment for our residents, their families, and staff.


Key Responsibilities:

* Delivering excellent customer service with a customer focused approach
* Providing quality and timely administrative support services
* Ensuring the maintenance of records and databases are up to date
* Assist with Debtor/Creditor accounts
* Assist with financial end of month processes including general journals, accruals, purchase orders, account reconciliation, account reporting, and reviews
* General Filing and Scanning as needed
* Accurate recording and processing of accounting and financial information
* Resolution of account enquiries in a timely and professional manner
* Administrative support to the Executive team


About you:

* Strong administrative and financial experience, commitment to meeting deadlines and accuracy of information provided is a must
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds
* Amazing organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Demonstrated ability to work both within a team environment and autonomously
* Proficient knowledge and application of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Knowledge of the aged care sector with genuine empathy
* Current Police clearance
* Undertake a pre-employment physical assessment
