Overview
We are seeking a passionate and driven Occupational Therapist to join our expanding ACT team based in Deakin. You will be working as part of a highly experienced, knowledgeable and fun team. You will have the opportunity for exposure to a variety of customers, different schemes and varying complexities of cases and career progression.
About You
You will be qualified as an Occupational Therapist with full AHPRA registration.
* Current Police Clearance and Working with Vulnerable People Check
* Desire to work in Occupational Rehabilitation
* Experience conducting ADL assessments (essential)
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking & problem solving
* Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude & positive approach
* Genuine commitment to continuous improvement
This is ideally a full time position however part time will be considered.
Day To Day In The Role You Will Be
* Supporting people to recover and return to pre-injury activities and seek employment using your clinical skills and knowledge
* Conducting a range of different assessment services including: Initial, Functional, Activities of Daily Living, Ergonomic, Pre-Employment and Worksite Assessments
* Case management across various jurisdictions including Workers Compensation, CTP, DVA, Life Insurance and private industry
* Liaison with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients
