Job Overview:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering timely therapeutic services to participants living in the Central Coast and Tuggerah area.
* You will be responsible for assessing participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
* You will interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant and provide evidence-based interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals.
* You will mentor and nurture early career clinicians, maintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.
Responsibilities Include:
Caseload Management: Managing an allocated caseload of NDIS participants requires excellent time management and organisational skills.
Treatment Planning: Assessing participants' needs and developing tailored treatment plans is essential for achieving optimal outcomes.
Mentorship: Providing guidance and support to early career clinicians helps to develop their skills and confidence.
Legislative Awareness: Staying up-to-date with current legislation ensures compliance and best practice.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload.
* A proactive attitude and interest in continually developing your skills.
* Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists.
* A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
