Job Description
We are seeking a diligent Cleaning Assistant to join our kitchen brigade. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout all kitchen areas, ensuring they are always spotless and hygienic.
Duties:
* Carry out cleaning duties within the kitchen, food preparation areas, and scullery.
* Operate the dishwashing machine according to instruction manual guidelines.
* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of pantry, fridges, and freezers.
* Rotate stock in pantry, fridge, and freezer to ensure optimal freshness and efficiency.
* Assist with receiving and storing stock in a timely manner.
* Ensure all kitchens meet current Health & Hygiene regulations.
* Provide sanitized clean and dry operational equipment to each outlet.
* Count, sort, and prepare operating equipment as required.
* Store operating equipment, crockery, cutlery, and glassware in a safe and hygienic manner.
* Handle chemicals and equipment according to manufacturer's instructions.
* Follow regular cleaning rosters and standard methods for deep cleaning of floors, walls, coolers, ovens, and operating equipment.
