Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Extensive Project Engineering experience within civil contracting sector
- Airport project experience advantageous but not essential
- Strong background in earthworks, drainage, utilities, and service infrastructure
- Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and deliver complex civil works
- Strong background in cost, schedule, and progress analytics, including Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Sound understanding of safety and quality management systems
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of the inground services package, ensuring compliance with design, budget, and program requirements.
- Manage subcontractor performance, procurement, and project documentation.
- Oversee cost control, scheduling, and progress measurement, applying strong analytical and project controls principles.
- Monitor and report on budget performance, forecast shifts, and project progress against key milestones.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Provide guidance to site and project teams to ensure quality, safety, and environmental standards are upheld.
- Drive process improvement, efficiency, and consistency across project delivery.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
