Description
The National Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for scaling Driva's presence as the preferred novated lease provider for employers across Australia. This role is accountable for both acquisition and activation of employer partnerships.
What you will do
* Co-design and execute a scalable strategy to become the novated lease provider of choice for as many Australian employers as possible.
* Oversee outbound sales to new employer targets, with a focus on decision-makers in People, HR, and Finance functions.
* Manage warm onboarding flows to employers when employees settle directly with Driva and introduce their employers.
* Collaborate with existing Driva strategic partners (e.g. EV manufacturers, salary packaging providers) to generate employer referrals.
* Design and execute launch activities for newly onboarded employers including morning teas, in-store support, webinars, and awareness initiatives.
* Own lead volume from employer partners—identify and implement tactics to increase penetration.
* Drive operational excellence and standardisation of processes across onboarding, account management, and re-engagement.
* Report on performance, pipeline, and sales activities to leadership.
* Contribute to product and tooling feedback to enhance employer and employee experience.
What we are looking for in this hire
* 5+ years of experience in Novated or HR Tech Sales
* Demonstrated success in acquiring and onboarding corporate accounts.
* Strong strategic thinking and planning capability with a bias for action and execution.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills—comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and decision-makers, ideally in HR or Finance.
* Experience designing and executing engagement campaigns and partner activation strategies.
* Comfortable with CRM and reporting tools to track and optimise performance.
* Strong project management skills, with ability to juggle competing priorities and deliver outcomes fast.
* Deep understanding or interest in novated leasing, employee benefits, or B2B2C distribution channels.
