About Us
The Classical School exists to form students in the Christian faith. We train young men and women who know what is true, do what is good, and love what is beautiful.
We are a school alternative offering a bespoke Christian liberal arts curriculum three days a week for home-educating families.
In 2026, we are expanding our high school program and seeking tutors who share our vision for raising the next generation of Christian leaders who are wise, virtuous, and equipped to serve the Kingdom of God.

Available Roles (Commencing Jan 1, 2026)
Mathematics / Science Tutor – 0.4 FTE
Teach across:
* Mathematics (Years 7–10)
* Physics (Years 2–10)
in three bands:
Years 2-3; Years 4–6; Years 7–10
* Guide students to see the order and elegance of God's creation through clear reasoning and hands-on inquiry.
Humanities / English Tutor – 0.4 FTE
Lead students in the life of the mind and heart through:
* Rhetoric (writing, public speaking)
Years 4-6; Year 7-10
* Grammar and Poetry
Years 4-6; Years 7-10
* Integrated Literature & History (Years 7–10)
reading & reflecting on
The Great Books of the Western Canon.
* Logic & Debate (Years 7–10)
so that students may "take every thought captive to obey Christ."
For the right person, these roles may combine to a single appointment up to 0.6 FTE.

Requirements
* Current Working with Children Check (WWC) required.
* TRBWA registration (preferred but not essential for part-time tutoring).
