THE EMPLOYER IS: LIGHTON TESTING LTD.We're looking for a qualified PAT Tester to carry out electrical safety checks on portable appliances across client sites.
Responsibilities
Visual inspections of appliances for damage (frayed cables, cracked plugs, incorrect fuses, etc.)
Electrical safety tests including earth continuity, insulation resistance, and polarity checks.
Labelling appliances with pass/fail stickers and recording test results.
Maintaining detailed records and producing inspection reports for clients.
Minor repairs such as replacing plugs or fuses when necessary.
Client interaction to explain results and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Skills and Qualifications
City and Guilds **** or equivalent but not essential as in house training will be provided.
Full UK clean driving licence.
